Fresh herbs add amazing fresh flavors to your meals, help purify your air, and add a beautiful touch of “green decor” to your kitchen!
So why not grow them in your kitchen? What could be better than using some fresh rosemary or basil in your meal tonight?
My challenge to you this week is to go out and purchase three potted, organic herbs, and transfer them into organic soil, and a self-watering planter. (Make sure your window of choice gets good light.)
Herbs, like oregano, thyme, rosemary, and basil prefer to dry out between watering so technically they aren’t “great” candidates for self-watering containers, but as you can see, I have had good success with little, weekly watering.
I water them once a week and pick leaves off multiple times a week! They are like my three little children. All unique in their own ways and I get so happy when I see them grow and multiply!
