Spicy Ground Turkey Stuffed Peppers

Spicy Ground Turkey Stuffed Peppers

Another minimal ingredient, yet bursting with flavorful recipe- my favorite type!

Wash peppers. Then slice off the tops of the peppers and rinse out seeds.

Ingredients:

1 lb hormone/antibiotic free ground turkey

2 tbsp jalapenos, diced

1 large carrot, diced

2 tbsp homemade ketchup

1 egg

1/2 large onion, diced

1 tbsp spicy chili sauce (optional)

1 tsp chili peppers (optional)

salt and pepper to taste

Mix the above ingredients together (the less you mix, the better!)

Then scoop spicy turkey mixture into:

4 medium sized green or red peppers

Bake for 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees. The time will vary depending on the oven and pepper size.

I cooked the 4 peppers for 20 minutes at 350 and then broiled for 5 minutes.

a delicious, fresh, and easy meal!
