Refreshing Watermelon Mint Cooler

i came home from my bike ride this morning to one of the best gifts of all time…a watermelon!

i’m easy to please.

it was just what i needed after a long bike ride in the hot sun.

after eating a few bites, i decided to make an attempt at my first watermelon drink.

i don’t mean to brag, but…

i succeeded.

nature’s colors never fail to amaze me. no man-made color could touch this.

yes… i did just post a picture of the seeds.

drinks taste even better when you put them in cool glasses.

the flavors of the lime, mint, and melon combine to form one of the most refreshing drinks…e.v.e.r.

don’t expect these to stick around for long 🙂

recipe for your life changing refreshing watermelon mint cooler

4 cups of watermelon, seeded

1 tsp grated lime zest

juice of 1/2 a lime

5 fresh mint leaves (or more to save some for garnishing)

1 cup ice (or more if prefer a slushy)

(the only thing that could make this drink better?  vodka)

directions (that are totally not necessary):

throw everything into a blender, mix, and enjoy one of the most refreshing drinks EVER.

happy drinking.
