Homemade {Honeycrisp} Applesauce

The perfect rainy day, fall recipe.

(also perfect for those of us who recently had their wisdom teeth removed…yup… I was tortured on Thursday…still recovering!)

Ingredients:

4 apples, peeled, cored, and diced

1-2 tsp cinnamon (I love cinnamon, so I use around 2 tsp)

3/4 cup water

1/4 cup apple cider (optional, if your apples are sweet enough, no additional sweetener needed!)

Directions:

1. Peel your apples.

2. Dice your apples.

3. Mix all ingredients in a pot.

4. Simmer (covered) on medium heat for 15-30 minutes. When ready, mash with fork. Can keep it chunky or blend it to make it smooth.

Easy pleasy!

Enjoy 🙂

Cheers and happy evolving!
